Massive music dump

Thanks to my bud Joshua Grierson, I've come upon a few new awesome artists and rediscovered a few new vids from bands/groups/musicians I've been digging before. So with no further ado, let the dumping begin!

Oh, before we begin, when I say "new", I mean new to me. Forgive me if you've been down with this awesome before!

New. Listener

A spoken word act with a twist. Dan Smith (lyricist) delivers insane lyrics with equally insane passion.

security will see you all the way to the door
it's like a prison but we pay you more
- from Ozark Empire.

Hit up their site for more.

Not so new. Bittereinder

An Afrikaans outfit from Pretoria, Bittereinder caught me with this well written track and awesome vid.
Ek soek al vir jare na die ware verhaal
Die openbaring en die waarde van my eie moedertaal
- from Ware Verhaal

New. Bouwer Bosch

Dig the video. Dig the sense of humour. Yes, I know the Afrikaans mo-clad stereotype might be getting a bit old, but hey, I still find it funny - so tough. Sucks that mo looks like ... well ...

New. But old. The Middle East

Sadly, The Middle East split up sometime during the middle of 2011.

New. Karunesh

Again, not necessarily new for you, but definitely for me. I'm loving this (if you know me, you'll know I absolutely love down-tempo, chill and lounge genres).

New. Various Artists Compilation.

Last, but not least, I stumbled on this great compilation of a number of awesome songs. Some chill out, some classic, but all beautiful. Enjoy!
